Shadeene Evans, the 17-year-old football prodigy who was scouted in the remote Northern Territory town of Borroloola, will make her W-League debut tonight with Sydney FC.

The rookie striker was recommended by Matildas coach Alen Stajcic four years ago and is the first elite athlete to emerge from the John Moriarty Football program.

The match at Leichhardt Oval against the Western Sydney Wanderers will be a must-win for the Sky Blues to end their season in the final four.
