Ashleigh Barty has lifted more silverware, this time with new doubles partner Victoria Azarenka at the Italian Open in Rome.

Barty continued her winning ways with a 4-6 6-0 10-3 defeat of Anna-Lena Gronefeld and Demi Schuurs in the final on Sunday.

It was her first title win with the Belarusian, who she beat in singles one month ago in Brisbane's Fed Cup semi-final.

The Queenslander will play singles at the Strasbourg Open this week,

Barty is drawn to play Fed Cup teammate Daria Gavrilova in the first round in a final hit-out before arriving in Paris guaranteed a top-eight seeding for the first time.

Barty, Gavrilova, Ajla Tomljanovic, former finalist Samantha Stosur and the in-form Astra Sharma will fly the flag in the French Open women's draw, while Kimberly Birrell and Arina Rodionova will attempt to join them when qualifying begins on Tuesday.
