Can’t believe it’s been a year since the ABU Song Fest and THIS happened:

Jamaica dela Cruz and TVXQ

For those who are hearing about the Song Fest for the first time, think of it as a Non-Competitive Asian Eurovision show. Here’s last year’s line-up in Seoul, South Korea:

ABU TV Song Fest 2012

This year, the Song Fest will be held at the gorgeous Hanoi Opera House.

ARIA-nominated pop stars Justice Crew will represent Australia with their #1 hit "Boom Boom" and their latest release "Everybody". I spoke to the boys in studio earlier and surprise, surprise:

  • Four of them are Filipinos like me! And two of them are twins.
  • They know their Asian Pop. Big fans of BIG BANG, favourite song: Fantastic Baby; AND they know the Crayon Pop Bar Bar Bar choreo down pat.
  • They’ve hung out with Jay Park. (Whuuuttt)

Plus they’re really down-to-earth, nice blokes. Check the photo above!

But bias aside (Aussie Aussie Aussie!), here are the other three acts I’m looking forward to seeing at the ABU:

1. SISTAR (South Korea)

2. MAY’N (Japan)

3. Mag Lam (Hong Kong)

Follow us on Twitter + Instagram + Facebook for the updates, for now enjoy the song that got Justice Crew their ARIA nominations, Best Night:

OH and check out the boys doing their version of Crayon Pop's Bar Bar Bar dance - too funny!
