All week we’ve been holding PopAsia Yearbook Awards! You know – the fun, some say superficial awards (although what is superficial about hairstyling, c’mon!) – before we start focusing on the real awards next week.
Here are the results so far… I think we can safely say we'd all like to be having our lunch breaks with G-Dragon, am I right?
Most popular: G-Dragon
And now we are tallying votes for 2013’s class clown award.
SHINee - Onew
SHINee’s Onew even has a name for his own brand of “funny moments” or you could even call them stuff ups. This video is old but it’s one of the funniest out there… (besides I don’t think he’s managed to behave any more together since).
BIGBANG - Daesung
Daesung is always having a laugh or imitating his friends! Check out his near mud dive on reality TV show family outing. LOL
If you’re a Show Luo fan you will already know him for his imitations of C-pop legends Andy Lau and Jay Chou and it was only at his Australian press conference earlier this year that he unleashed a tirade of jokes on the media. Check him out here doing a dance parody of Girls Generation’s “Gee”.
ARASHI - Aiba Masaki
Any of you PopAsians who have been tuning in to the Japanese variety show Vs Arashi on SBS 2 will know how hilariously silly ALL of these boys are - but we picked Aiba as our favourite. They are always dancing around and dressing up: the latest as giant pieces of popcorn for their forthcoming release. Check it out:
Here’s a compilation video of the boys acting up; mostly on variety shows.
How could we leave the king of spoof of our list of class clown contenders? HOW? It’s not possible.
Not according to Jamaica who thinks the best part of this video is when he farts in the woman’s face. Sh’s a classy lady!
Here he is on Ellen teaching Britney Spears how to dance the pony dance earlier this year.
Who is your favourite Asian pop class clown?
