YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk opened up about the company's plans for BIGBANG, revealing they will be releasing their 3rd studio album over the summer (Winter in Australia). G-Dragon confirmed this during their band's 2014 BigBang +A in Seoul concert. He said,

“After debuting, we held out first concert at this stadium, and nine years have passed since. Back then, we toured around Korea, and now we tour around the world. Much has changed, but I feel like only our fans’ hearts are the same, so I am always happy.”

“While visiting various countries, I feel like our family is getting bigger and bigger. That is why I’m very happy. I feel sorry for our fans as well, and the way to make that feeling disappear is to release an album, and show it to you first. We are preparing hard for it. It will be this summer.

YG Entertainment's CEO confirmed that G-Dragon, "has cleared his schedule so he can stay in the work room the whole time. He's always quick when it comes to writing songs, so I don't think work on the album will take very long," Yang Hyun Suk said.

Aside from a few mini-albums, it's been 6 years since we've seen a full album from the boys. SO EXCITED for this! With G-Dragon at the helm and the rest of the crew experimenting with their own different styles of music, this is sure to be an eclectic mesh of pop/hip-hop/R&B & awesomeness.

Bring on Winter!!!!
