Orange Caramel's quirky new MV "Catallena" has been deemed "unsuitable for broadcast" by Korea's largest broadcaster KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) and has to be sent back to the editing suite.

KBS asserted that the MV made light of human life "especially in its scenes where Orange Caramel is seen sitting on top of rice pretending to be sushi or struggling under plastic wrap" (Allkpop).

Orange Caramel's management, Pledis Entertainment have responded:

"The scene in which the members are wrapped in plastic vinyl in the music video became an issue... We plan to edit out the controversial scene for reconsideration. For MBC and SBS, the video has passed and has been approved for all ages."

The sexy sushi-trained After School sub-unit, Orange Caramel are back with their 3rd single album: titled by this cathcy, Indian-disco inspired track "Catallena". Check it out...

Supposedly the title song "Catallena" is also inspired by 'Jutti Meri', a Pakistani Punjabi folk song.
