In a magical combination of drama, pop and bodily functions, J-pop group Arashi are all set to release their new single “GUTS!”

“GUTS!” is also going to be the new theme song for Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari's new drama 'Yowakutemo Katemasu ~Aoshi Sensei to Heppoko Koukou Kyuji no Yabou' (catchy title). It apparently takes its inspiration from Takahashi Hidemine’s novel ‘Yowakutemo Katemasu’ Kaisei Koukou Yakyubu no Theory” (understandably, just as catchy). The drama is to be broadcast by NTV, beginning April 12th.

At almost 30, Tamo Aoshi (Ninomiya Kazunari) completely absorbed in his research in the field of biology at the University of Tokyo is suddenly asked to replace one of the teachers of biology in a prestigious private high school – the school he previously attended! He is also appointed the coach of the school’s failing baseball team. Tamo is forced to come up with an ingenious scheme by using the members' brains to challenge the championing teams...

Ninomiya said about the drama, "This is my first time playing a teacher. It's also been a while for me to work with younger people, since I was always one of the youngest casts until now. I would like to try communicating with the students, but I'm not so good to associate with younger people, and I didn't really have a chance to do so. That's the one thing I'm worried about.", however, he enthusiastically said, "I will work hard to make the drama together with the students, other teachers, and the staff members."

While we wait for Arashi’s “GUTS!” to be released, let’s enjoy their latest single “Bittersweet”.
