Don’t know if you feel this way too, but I’ve been waiting for this announcement since "Kuroko No Basuke" Season 2 ended in March this year.

I mean, why couldn’t they tell us back then they were making Season 3? We wouldn’t have had to agonise about whether or not we’ll continue to see the rest of the manga in its full animated glory, right? ;)

And just in case you haven’t had the pleasure of watching KNB, it’s basically about…well, school basketball. There was this Middle School team (Teiko) that was known as the “Generation of Miracles” because their five starting members were awesome. There were also rumours of a phantom sixth man, who - fast forward to the beginning of the series - is the anime’s main protagonist. Just who is he... and what is his special basketball power? And what’s ‘gonna happen now that the "Generation of Miracles’" have gome to different high schools and have to battle each other?

On that note…who else is looking forward to seeing "Generation of Miracles’" former captain Akashi hopefully FINALLY PLAY? So much teasing in the first two seasons. And fun fact… Akashi’s voice actor is the same as Levi’s from "Attack on Titan". Once again…KYAAAAA!

Let me know if you're excited too!
