Vocaloids might be really virtual now that they can step into their fan’s worlds with the help of holographic technology, but Kumi Koda’s latest music video is taking ‘virtual reality’ to the next level!

Her latest music video, “Dance In the Rain” uses Oculus Rift technology and 3D sound! That means, when people use the Oculus Rift to view the video, it's EVERYWHERE, ALL AROUND THEM. It would be like being hugged, by JPop which is one of the best things to be hugged by, in the entire world.

The MV is going to have it’s debut at the “LONDON TENT” a design trade show on September 18!

Oculus Rift is virtual reality technology, that isn’t expected to be the public’s hands until at least 2015…. So, we probably won’t get to experience true, immersive, Kumi Koda music video goodness for a while….

WHY, SCIENCE?! WHY DON’T YOU MOVE FASTER FOR ME?!
