THIS JUST IN: MBLAQ's Mir apologises for not breaking the news themselves

MBLAQ's Mir opened up on the group's fan cafe, apologising to fans for not breaking the news themselves.

He wrote, "I don't know what to start off saying. I am very sorry for letting you hear bad news all of the sudden... While in the midst of thinking about how to share the news with you all, we saw the articles and we were also very flustered. I want to apologize for the fact that this news was not delivered through our own mouths, but from outsiders first. Because it is a choice that they've personally made, I don't think of it in a bad light and it has nothing to do with the absurd rumors of discord between us. We have the same heart that we had for the past 6 years since our trainee days. The only difference is our choices... To be honest, I'm just holding onto my cellphone right now finding it difficult to write. I can't think of anything else to write besides that I'm very sorry and that once everything gets resolved soon, I will greet you with the members."

J.Tune Camp have confirmed MBLAQ will not be disbanding. The group will continue as 3 members or possibly add more members.

IN EARLIER NEWS: MBLAQ’s Lee Joon has revealed his intent to leave MBLAQ after his contract expires

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon has revealed he will be leaving MBLAQ after his contract expires with management company J.Tune Camp.

As reported by Star News, Lee Joon has decided not to continue his contract with J.Tune Camp to focus on his acting career.

The news comes after MBLAQ’s show director Randy Noh hinted via instagram last week that the boys will be heading off to the army. It has since been deleted, but the caption read,

“It feels like yesterday when MBLAQ was trembling at the thought of their debut 5 years ago, and now they’re already going to the army. I wonder if they’ll be able to prepare for their performance properly. I feel like nothing is going to get done after an entire summer spent sending episodes to Bang Mogoon kk I hope a lot of people come to support MBLAQ who may not be seen together for a while. P.S: The title and head copy are my works k #MBLAQ #MBLAQ #MBLAQconcert #20141129-1130 #olympichall #mblaqslastconcertfornow #bangpenji”

Lee Joon’s acting career has taken off in recent years. He’s starred in 5 feature films and more than 9 different dramas/variety shows on major networks.

Although Lee Joon has not re-signed with the agency after his contract expired, he will be participating in MBLAQ’s concert, “Curtain Call”, on November 29th and 30th: the group’s last promotion as an entire group.
