CROSS GENE -
This 6 member K-pop boy band originally debuted in 2012 but we haven’t heard much from them in the past few years… until now. In 2014, the boys came back with “Amazing-Bad-Lady” and “I’m Not a Boy, Not Yet a Man” (recently premiered on SBS PopAsia TV). In 2015 the boys are gearing up for a Japanese release “Future”. Psyched!
G-Friend is a new 6 member K-pop girl group: Eunha, Yuju, Umji, Sowon, SinB, and Yerin managed by Source Music Entertainment. They have a sporty, fresh look, but that’s all we know so far. The girl group are due to debut January 15.
A new YG hip hop group we’ve heard a lot about so far thanks to enigmatic rapper Bobby (and of course from YG’s trainee reality show “Who Is Next: WIN”) and one we will hopefully hear a lot more from this year.
Amber (solo debut) –
Who cannot wait to see what one of the feistiest girls in K-pop comes up with this year? Whatever is it, it’s going to be bangin’. More on that here.
After School’s Lizzy (solo debut) -
While we wait for a complete After School to make a complete comeback, here’s something else we can get excited about: Lizzy’s solo debut!
Her agency announced, "[Lizzy] will release her first solo digital single 'I'm Not an Easy Girl' on the 23rd. She will make her solo debut on the January 17th filming of 'National Singing Contest', becoming the first idol to do so."
4TEN is a reasonably new four-member girl group – MIB’s sister group - consisting of TEM, Hyeji, Eujin, and Hyejin. They only debuted in August of last year but there was so much going on, a lot of people missed them! Check out their latest video “Why”:
The K-pop world was awash with whispers that JYP Entertainment would be debuting a 6-strong girl group to follow on from GOT7 (Lena who features in Sunmi's "Full Moon" MV was also rumoured to be in the group)… but we’re still waiting! Who knows if this will actually happen – keep your eyes peeled PopAsians!
We fell in love with JJCC when they debuted in 2014 (and yes, we’re biased – they have an Aussie member Prince Mak and he’s awesome!) with the release of “At First” and “One Way” and we can’t wait for their forthcoming comeback.
JJCC tweeted on the 6th, "Set the music industry and women's hearts on fire! Let's eat, play, and live well in 2015~ Together with JJCC in 2015~~~~^^*coming soon 2015.01.14."

Popu Lady is a Taiwanese, 5 member girl group with a bubbly pop sound similar to Perfume or Orange Caramel in sound. This song “More” featured on their 2014 mini-album release of the same title. No news of their comeback dates yet, but we’ve got our eyes on these girls!
Twinko, a 5 member girl group from Taiwan, just released their first mini-album last year in November so they’re most likely still busy promoting it now as we are enjoying it! Here is one of the tracks taken from it, “Bling Bling”. See what you think…
