In news that hurts me, the Hatsune Miku DS game has been delayed.
By four months.
When it was announced that Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX for DS was getting a Western release, on May 28th this was me on the inside:
But outwardly I was like:
Mainly because unless something blatantly says “Australian release”, I just don’t believe it's going to be here.
Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX is a rhythm game, consisting of 48 songs to play, with the choice of touch and button modes. News of the game recieving a Western release was welcomed by fans of the rhythm game genre and Hatsune Miku.
With only a week till it's due release date, the news that it will be delays has hit expectant fans hard.
There is some good news, the launch edition of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX will now include extra cool stuff, including a wallet chain and augmented reality cards. It’s not really quelling the rage of those who feel as though they've waited long enough… Especially as it seems to only be available for the North American edition of the game.
On the upside, more gaming sites are saying that it will actually make it to Australia on September the 10th, which could mean it might ACTUALLY be here this year. Even if it's just in a digital form, it's still just in time for my birthday.....
And let's not ignore the fact that a game that's all about keeping in time.... has been delayed. (Let the deliciousness of that situation sink in for a bit. Sho know's what I'm talking about).
Until then, let's continue to enjoy the game trailer.
