SEKAI NO OWARI will be singing the theme songs for BOTH Attack On Titan live-action adaptions!

That means the Jpop band who's name means “the end of the world” will be singing the theme songs for movies about a post-apocalyptic society.

The first movie’s theme will be the song “ANTI-HERO” and Crunchyroll reports it’s already been recorded, with the help of Dan the Automator (fans of Gorillaz and KASABIAN will be familiar with him).

The second movie’s theme song is called “SOS” and Ken Thomas (the producer of Sigur Rós, for fans of Norwegian rock) is expected to be collaborating. Both songs will be sung in English.

The first Attack On Titan film will hit Japan's cinemas on August 1st, with the second part of the live-action coming out on September 19.

Madman have confirmed that we will be getting the films here as well.

For now, let's bask in the glory of the trailer....
