J-rock band ALSDEAD has announced that they will be going on hiatus in October following a series of live shows in Tokyo on September 12, 18, 19 and October 9.

The announcement comes as a surprise to fans, and members: Maki, Shin, Yosuke and NIKKY have apologised its abruptness, but promised that this is a positive thing for the band and its members.

ALSDEAD is taking a break in hopes that the band will be able to recharge, move forward with their lives, and take on different pursuits outside of being in the band.

The length of the hiatus has not been confirmed, however, ALSDEAD has reiterated that this does not mean they are disbanding.
