Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon's solo album is finally out and it’s dominating charts online.

As soon as “I” was released on Oct.7, it went to top 8 different music streaming web sites.

The title track in particular boasts electronic guitar sounds and is a medium tempo pop track. The song marks the first time that Taeyeon has composed since making her debut with Girls’ Generation. Verbal Jint also features on the track, and according to SM Entertainment, the lyrics are supposed to contain an autobiographic element.

The music video was filmed in New Zealand and features Taeyeon taking on two roles.

From Oct.8, Taeyeon will start performing on chart shows.
