Minami Minegishi will star in "Joshikou"

AKB48's Minami Minegishi is set to star in an upcoming murder mystery titled Joshikou (Girl's High School).

This marks Minegishi's first lead role and she is set to play 1 of 6 classmates who gather at a school reunion that goes horribly wrong.

When one of the classmates is shot dead during a power failure, the surviviors try to piece together the clues-- one involving a text message from a classmate who died 7 years ago!

Joshikou is directed by Koki Yamamoto and also stars model-actress Riho Takada and actress Erina Nakayama.

The film is set to open in Japan in Spring.
