We didn’t need reminders but it’s nice to know that Vogue thinks 2NE1’s CL is a trendsetter.

While alluding to CL’s pending American debut, Vogue introduced the singer as the world’s “baddest female” online on November 17.

The fashion magazine said that the fact that world-class designers Karl Lagerfeld and Jeremy Scott have taken note of CL, showed her status. Vogue also acknowledged that she was one of Asia’s biggest stars.

The article praised CL for her “swagger” and her bid in helping “usher in K-pop’s hip-hop wave.”
