The Boy and the Beast opens in Australian theatres on the 3rd of March. Should you go watch it?

Reason #1. You’re a Mamoru Hosoda fan and/or you love his film Wolf Children.

The Boy and the Beast similarly explores the relationship between humans and humanoid beasts, and just like Wolf Children—it’s bittersweet.

Reason #2. You’re a Hayao Miyazaki / Studio Ghibli fan and you want MOOOORRREEE of that good stuff.

Reason #4. You’ve got real-world problems and you want to escape to a whimsical world where you’ll solve your problems vicariously through the main character.
