***** UPDATE *****
Reports surfaced just yesterday that EXO's Lay had collapsed while filming a Chinese variety TV show, and was taken to hospital due to food poisoning.
However, new reports have surfaced claiming that Lay's collapse was actually due to exhaustion, and not food poisoning as it was previously believed.
A variety show staff reported to China's Sina News that, "Lay was actually very tired. During that time, he was involved in drama filming, performances, press conferences, and more. The night before the show recording, he arrived at Hainan, had a little bit of food, and said he wasn't feeling well overall. Then the next morning he said he could not taking it any longer."
We hope Lay gets some much needed rest, and wish him a speedy recovery!
EXO's Lay was reportedly rushed to hospital and treated for food poisoning while filming a Chinese TV show "Extreme Challenge".
The 24-year-old was apparently heading to the restroom when he collapsed. Local media reported Lay's health didn't seem right while on set as he was suffering from severe vomiting and appeared pale.
He was later discharged from hospital after receiving fluids.
Concerned fans were quick to wish the singer well on social media.
The incident comes just a few months after the star injured himself while filming the Chinese drama "Old Nine Gates". Local media in China reported on January 31 that Lay was injured when a motorbike toppled over on set.
