On May 16th, Inmin Ilbo reported that Song’s name has been searched more than 11 billion times on the Chinese portal site Weibo.
Given that the drama ended just a month ago, it looks like it’s just the beginning of Song’s popularity in China.
Song’s fan meets in China are also making headlines as prices have gone up to 20,000 Yuan ($4,168) a ticket by scalpers. Even so, all fan meets are sold out at the moment and Song is set to be busy touring Asia until June.
While in China, Song is set to make appearances on some of the biggest variety shows.
