Regardless of when he conscripts, it’s been decided that Hallyu actor Lee Minho will not be an active-duty soldier, tending to admin duties as a public servant during his 2-year mandatory military service.

The ruling was the result of a car accident that Lee was in back in 2006. At the time he had to have metal screws put into his legs. In 2011, Lee was in another accident while filming “City Hunter.”

Ahead of their conscription, Korean men get a physical examination where their ailments will be taken into account, as they get assigned posts in the military. Ilgan Sports reported on 19th May that Lee is set to go to the Army early next year.
