Just days after she recorded her first message to fans from the hospital, Tang Anqi's agency said that the SNH48 will be able to participate in the General Election in July.

The agency said that Tang is eager to return to the stage and that if she's in shape by then, she'd be able to take part in the election to take place in July. Her band mates have also been supportive, video chatting with Tang as she recovers in the hospital.

Can’t believe it’s been 80 days since the tragic accident that led to SNH48’s Tang Anqi suffering from burns to 80% of her body. Although Anqi is still in hospital – she recently underwent vocal cord surgery- she took some time out to reach out and thank her fans for their support.

In her message, Tang had this to say:

Thank you all very much for the help and support you have given me. Because of your encouragement, help and support, I'm now recovering well. Through my daily efforts with exercise and therapy, I hope to see you all soon

We are so proud of you for being so brave Anqi and still cheering you on as you recover!
