In some great news for C-ute and all their fans, Chisato Okai's surgery to remove her vocal cord polyps was a success!

In a recent post on her blog, Chisato wrote a reassuring message to her fans that she's doing well and that she's on the mend: "I've gotten rid of the voice that was changing and now I'm returning with my beautiful original voice."

Chisato also wrote that until she is fully recovered, she will only be participating in C-ute's activities in a limited capacity: "I'm sorry, but I'll take things 1 by 1 and do my best so everyone can continue to cheer. Thank you!!!!,"

While she won't be performing onstage with the rest of C-ute, Chisato will serve as the MC for the group's upcoming concerts.

We wish Chisato a speedy recovery, and we hope to hear her beautiful voice very soon!
