Everyone is eagerly waiting for Black Pink to make their debut at the end of July, but if new reports are to be believed, we're going to be seeing quite a lot of the girls for the rest of the year!
According to a new report from Star News, YG Entertainment is planning to release new Black Pink songs throughout the remainder of 2016, and a total of eight MVs are expected to be dropped:
“Teddy, who is in charge of producing Black Pink’s debut album, has been working on songs that suit Black Pink for the past two years. Currently, there are eight songs that have been finalized. Every song in Black Pink’s debut album will have a music video, so we are currently planning on filming at least eight music videos.”
YG states that due to the quality of each of Black Pink's recorded songs, all will be split up and released individually rather than have all the attention focused on one title track:
"The music industry these days is focused on tracks, so when an album is released it is common for only the title track to receive attention. The songs that Black Pink has completed so far are all of amazing quality, so they will be split up and released separately.”
At the moment, Black Pink have "already filmed music videos for two songs" and are currently in the middle of filming for another song.
With eight new MVs in the works, are you excited for Black Pink's debut?
