While appearing on the "V" app on July 16th, Taeyong hinted at the rumour that's been plaguing him and his group since their debut early this year!

In the recording, NCT 127's leader said there were things in his life, "before debut, that's extremely embarrassing."

Taeyong said he should have apologised earlier to those whom he hurt while he was "young, immature and unable to have empathy for others."

A teary Taeyong went on to say that he was sorry to his band members to whom he wanted to set a good example as a leader.

The incident refers to allegations that Taeyong used to sell faulty secondhand good online while he was in middle school. Many of the buyers claimed that they were threatened by the singer when they asked for a refund and have uploaded text exchanges as evidence.
