With the recent release of Pokemon GO and the upcoming release of Pokemon Sun and Moon, It's safe to say that everyone is currently swept up in the craze - even K-pop idols. But unfortunately for EXO's Chanyeol, his love for Pokemon has landed him in some controversy.

Just recently, Chanyeol posted up a phone video of an older Pokemon game with the caption "I will have you" on his Instagram.

But upon seeing the screenshot, many of his followers pointed out that the game isn't legally accessible on phones and that Chanyeol must have illegally downloaded the title. After receiving numerous messages pointing out his actions, Chanyeol deleted the screenshot and posted up an apology.

Here's a translation of Chanyeol's apology:

"Hi, this is Chanyeol. The reason I'm uploading a post like this is to apologize to everyone. First and foremost, I'm someone who really like games, and as a public figure, I think my sharing a clip of an illegally downloaded game was very irresponsible, and to those who use the original product and to others who felt offended, I apologize!! I will continue to be careful in many areas, and try to be Chanyeol who respects the original product
