Hollywood has decided to jump on the Pokemon bandwagon by green-lighting a live-action Pokemon movie!

Everyone is currently caught up in the latest Pokemon craze, and it looks like Hollywood is the latest to join in on the phenomenon!

Film company Legendary Entertainment has recently won the rights to a live-action Pokemon movie, and will be partnering up with The Pokemon Company to launch a new film franchise.

Details are being kept under wraps at the moment, but what we do know is that the movie will be called "Detective Pikachu" and will focus on a new character named Detective Pikachu. Production is expected to start in 2017, so it will be quite a wait before the movie hits cinemas.
