Now that we're well into the second half of 2016, it's time to look at the top 5 K-pop songs so far based on their "Inkigayo" points score!

We're now well into the second half of 2016 and seeing as how there's been a lot of great K-pop music that has been released already, we thought we would take a look at at the top five songs of the year (so far)!

Given the subjective nature of the songs, and given how SBS's "Inkigayo" has a point system for the most popular songs performed on the show, this top five list will be based on songs that scored the highest total points on the program.

Without further ado, here are the top five songs of 2016 so far based on their "Inkigayo" scores:

5. Block B - Toy - 10,324 points

4. G-Friend - Navillera - 10,328 points

3. TWICE - Cheer Up - 10,429 points

2. Taeyeon - Why - 10,557 points

1. EXO - Monster - 11,000 points
