Following news that popular J-pop group C-ute will be breaking up in 2017, we now have the official date of their disbandment.

According to new reports, C-ute have set their disbandment date for June 12the same day as their Saitama Super Arena concert.

According to group member Chisato Okai, the date holds special meaning for the group as it is the date after their initial formation - "This day has a deep meaning. It is the day after June 11th, which is ℃-ute's formation day. We want to take a new step with everyone".

We have a few months left with C-ute, but we're missing them already!


 

In a bit of sad news, popular J-pop group C-ute have announced that they will be disbanding!

In a new statement on their website, the group began discussing their future earlier this year when every member had turned 20. After much talking, the girls decided to disband in June 2017 following their concert at the Saitama Super Arena.

"For us, ℃-ute, this Saitama Super Arena is our goal, and until this day, we will rush with all our power and after we want to walk respectively in our own path.

It'll be sad to see C-ute go their seperate ways, but in the months that they're still around, the girls' main priority is to have do as much for their fans as possible, including the possibility of new music.
