After a long wait, Hikaru Utada finally released her newest album "Fantôme" on September 28 and it's already blowing up on the iTunes charts!

At the time of writing, Hikaru's newest album has charted in 28 countries worldwide on iTunes, and that includes hitting No.1 in six countries. While we weren't too surprised at this success, it appears Hikaru was!

In the few days since the release of "Fantôme", the singer has been tweeting about her confusion and exasperation at how successful the album has been worldwide, particularly in the US.

Given that the music industry had changed dramatically in the years between Hikaru's previous album "This Is The One" and "Fantôme", it's probably no surprise that this is all new to the singer.

Congrats on the successful album release, Hikaru!
