The 'Spectrum Dance Music Festival' is a mega music festival produced by S.M. Entertainment (SM)’s affiliate group DreamMaker Entertainment.

The event was held over two days on October 1st and 2nd at Nanji Han River park in Seoul, boasting a huge success with 60,000 global fans attending.

There was a lot of anticipation around the festival’s success after it announced a massive lineup of Korean and global artists representing all types of genres including EDM, K-Pop and Hip-hip.

The most remarkable feature of the festival was the cutting-edge technology used to create amazing visual expression across its four stages.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – the world’s number one DJ duo according to DJ MAG – performed for the first time in Korea at the festival.

Other well-known DJs like Kaskade, Don Diablo, Galantis, SIGMA, DYRO, Marshmello and R3HAB also performed.

SM artists; Key from SHINee, Amber and Luna from f(x), Jungmo from Trax and Johnny from SM Rookies formed a special group for the festival. Amber and Luna showcased the song ‘Heartbeat’ for the first time and SHINee performed new songs along with plenty of their hit tunes.
