YG Entertainment recently revealed that preparations are underway for comebacks from BIGBANGBlack Pink, and Akdong Musician, but curiously, there was no mention about WINNER or their returns. However, according to a new announcement from YG, it appears that WINNER will be postponing their comeback indefinitely due to unforeseen circumstances.

In a new statement on YG's official blog, the company revealed that the release of WINNER's new single will be delayed until further notice due to Taehyun's mental health issues. YG stated that Taehyun has had health issues since he was a trainee, but his condition has worsened recently.

After discussions between YG, Taehyun, and his family, it was decided that the singer is not well enough to work and all of WINNER's activities will be put on hold while he focuses on his recovery. YG also went onto explain that due to the unpredictability of mental health issues, this is primarily the reason why there has not been much news about WINNER recently.

There is currently no set timetable on WINNER's comeback, and YG maintains that the focus remains on Taehyun's recovery.

This is unfortunate news for WINNER, fans, and especially for Taehyun. We wish Taehyun a speedy recovery, and that he will return once he is good and ready.
