Just recently, Billboard revealed that BTS new album "WINGS" has managed to top the World Albums Chart for the week of October 29, 2016, overtaking strong performances from Utada Hikaru and SHINee.
It's not just "WINGS" that is doing well as BTS' new title track "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" is also making waves on the Billboard charts. For the week of October 29, the group's hit song has managed to debut at No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales Chart, dethroning Israel Kamakawuwo'Ole's popular cover of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". Notably, Jimin's solo track "Lie" has also managed a very impressive debut, charting in at No.3.
And finally, all this recent buzz over BTS' record-breaking comeback has meant that the boys have topped Billboard's Social 50 Chart - which measures the most talked about artists on social media - for the week of October 29. Not are BTS ranking above other famous pop artists such as Ariana Grande, Drake, and Rhianna, the group are also the only K-pop artist on the Social 50 chart this week.
With their recent string of record-breaking successes, all we have to say is a huge congratulations to BTS for all their impressive achievements!
Of course, it's not only ARMYs in the US who are nuts about BTS' new album - check out our "Blood, Sweat, & Tears" MV reaction from our very own Dr J and Natalie Tran:
