Each year, Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency host the Popular Culture and Arts Awards, which is a ceremony that recognises the achievements of approximately 30 Korean artists across all pop culture areas. As you can imagine, some big name artists are in line for a prestigious award, one of whom is a certain frontman for BIGBANG.

Just recently, reports have emerged revealing that G-Dragon has been named amongst the list of artists likely to receive a Prime Minister's Commendation, which is one of four prestigious awards given out at the ceremony.

Given his artistic achievements over the years, G-Dragon reportedly has a high probability of winning the award, though he has yet to announce whether he is attending the ceremony.

Congrats to G-Dragon on such a huge achievement and we've got our fingers crossed for him!
