Piko-Taro has teamed up with the recently-released film "Death Note: Light Up The New World" to produce a "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP)" cover featuring Ryuk!

Piko-Taro (aka Daimaou Kosaka) and the hit anime/manga series "Death Note" have been making waves in the media lately; the former due to his smash-hit viral video "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP)" and the latter due to the recent release of the new film "Death Note: Light Up The New World". While both parties are worlds apart in what they do, they've somehow managed to come together for a new collaboration video that's equal parts bizarre, awesome, and hilarious.

Taking Piko-Taro's hit viral song, the crew behind the recently-released "Death Note" film have released a new cover of "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP)" featuring Ryuk performing the dance with an actual pen, pineapple, and apple.

Words can't describe what it's like to witness everyone's favourite Shinigami performing PPAP, so we'll let you watch and enjoy one minute of Ryuk having fun with a pen, a pineapple, and an apple:
