TWICE have made a splash on the Billboard charts with the release of their new album "TWICEcoaster: Lane 1", while Jay Park's new album "Everything You Wanted" and BTS' album "WINGS" are still holding strong in their second and third week resepectively.
For the week of November 12, Billboard revealed that "TWICEcoaster: Lane 1" has managed to debut at a career-best No.3 on the World Albums Chart, just behind BTS' "WINGS" which has slipped to No.2 in its third week on the chart. Holding onto the No.4 spot is Jay Park's "Everything You've Wanted", which slips from last week's peak of No.3.
It's not just TWICE's new album that's made an impact on the Billboard charts. For the week of November 12 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales Chart, TWICE's latest hit single "TT" has managed to debut at No.2 ahead of BTS' "Blood, Sweat, & Tears", which slips to No. 3 in its third week, though both songs was kept off the top by Israel Kamakawuwo'Ole's popular cover of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow".
And finally, BTS are still high up on Billboard's Social 50 Chart - which measures the most talked about artists on social media - for the week of November 12, though the boys have slipped to a still-very-respectable No.2 behind Ariana Grande . The group still remains ahead of famous pop artists such as Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Drake.
A huge congrats to TWICE for their impressive debuts, and to BTS and Jay Park for their continued run of success!
