For those wanting pens with their apples, try the new PPAP Cafe in Tokyo, which was inspired by the "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP)" phenomenon!

From mobile phone games to somehow earning a Guinness World Record, it goes without saying that Piko-Taro's "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP)" is far and away the viral hit of 2016. Proving that PPAP's influence is widespread, the annoyingly catchy tune has now inspired a PPAP-themed Cafe!

Based in at Tokyo Skytree, the Tree Village store will be converted to a "Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP)" cafe from November 1 to November 20.

As for the food served at the cafe, there are a variety of apple and pineapple dishes - unsurprisingly - as well as burgers, desserts, and drinks. Unfortunately, no pen-based dishes are served at the PPAP cafe!
