Following the expiration of their contract with Cube Entertainment, a number of rumours have surfaced regarding the future of Beast, including the possibility of forming their own independent label. However, it appears that the possibility of re-signing with Cube Entertainment is becoming a more likely possibility due to various reasons.

According to new reports, Beast had initially planned to set up their own agency, but this plan soon proved to be complicated due to issues regarding the size of the investment required and the timeframe in which all this could be accomplished. Furthermore, there is also the outstanding issue regarding the "Beast" trademark. Given that Cube Entertainment have trademarked the group name until 2026, should Beast indeed establish their own independent agency, they would not be able to promote under the "Beast" name without Cube's permission.

With all the complications that have arisen in their attempt to be independent, Beast are reportedly considering a return to Cube Entertainment, though there's the possibility that the group will set up a sub-label within Cube that will allow them to have their own independent promotions.

In response to these reports, Cube Entertainment have released a statement, saying that nothing has been decided yet and that contract negotiations are still ongoing.
