Aside from their special ninth anniversary SM STATION track "Sailing" earlier this year, 2016 has been a relatively quiet year for Girls' Generation. However, while the girls have been busy with various other solo ventures this year, their popularity is still as high as ever, and they've now hit a major YouTube milestone!

Just recently, the group's MV for "The Boys" hit the 150 million views mark on YouTube, giving Girls' Generation three MVs that have over 150 million views (with "I Got A Boy" and "Gee" being the other two). Not only is this an incredible milestone, this also means that Girls' Generation are the first K-pop group to have three MVs with over 150 million YouTube views!
