After some casting controversy, a series of leaked set images, and five tantalising teaser clips, the first, full-length trailer for the upcoming "Ghost in the Shell" live-adaptation is finally here!

Following on from an intro from The Major herself, Scarlett Johansson, the Trailer dives into a gorgeous looking rendition of a futuristic Tokyo before showcasing a number of well-known scenes taken from the original 1995 animated Ghost in the Shell movie, such as an iconic "invisible fight" scene and the famous sequence involving the construction of The Major's cyborg body.

Featuring a number of mysterious voice-overs asking intriguing questions about The Major's past, as well as welcome appearances from the other members of the Section 9 counter-cyberterrorist task force, the upcoming Ghost in the Shell movie is shaping up quite nicely indeed!

Check out the Trailer right and let us know what you think.

"Ghost in the Shell" stars Scarlett Johansson, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche, and Michael Pitt, with Rupert Sanders ("Snow White and the Huntsman") directing.
