Black Pink's new comeback single "Playing With Fire" has been lighting up the music world since it was released a few weeks ago, and now the group have managed to make some history on the Canadian Billboard charts!
For the week of November 26, "Playing With Fire" made its debut at No.92 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 Chart, which charts the most popular songs in Canada across all genres based on radio airplay, sales, and streaming data.
Not only is this an impressive feat for the rookie group, this achievement makes Black Pink the first K-pop girl group to chart on the Canadian Hot 100! So far in 2016, Black Pink and BTS are the only K-pop artists to have a song chart on the Canadian Hot 100, both of whom will join Psy, EXO, and 2NE1's CL as the only other K-pop acts to have made the chart.
A big congratulations to Black Pink for their history-making achievement, and to mark this milestone, let's flashback to when our very own Dr J and Nat Tran reacted to "Playing With Fire"!
