The last year or so has seen Girls' Generation member Yoona sharpen her acting skills with some well-received roles, such as in the film "God of War, Zhao Yun" and in the popular K-drama"The K2", and now the singer has been given the honour of hosting the upcoming 2016 Women in Film Awards!

Yoona is no stranger to hosting award ceremonies, and as an established singer and actress, she is more than qualified to host the event, which will be held on December 7 at the ARTNINE in Seoul.

The Women in Film Awards is an event that gives the spotlight to women who have made an impression in the film industry this past year, and recognition will be given to women who are in a variety of filmmaking roles, such as acting, directing, producing, playwriting, documentaries, and more.
