Our very own Andy Trieu was recently in Korea and among the various shenanigans he got himself into, our resident ninja manage to land an special interview with the concept kings themselves, VIXX!

Throughout 2016, VIXX have been releasing new albums as part of their Greek mythology-influenced "Conception" trilogy, and Andy decided to get the lowdown on what inspired the group to pursue such an ambitious project.

According to Ravi, their latest album "Kratos" is the final installment of their "Conception" trilogy, following their earlier 2016 albums "Zelos" and "Hades", and that the group chose these three Greek gods because they best represented VIXX's latest concept and storylines revolving around love stories.

As for how the group have changed from the start of 2016 to then end, Hyuk stated that the group showed quite a few sides of themselves this year, having started off with a funky and bright image for "Zelos", continuing on with a dark and gritty image for "Hades", and finally ending on a masculine image for "Kratos".

In terms of where their concepts come from, Hongbin revealed that they all come from VIXX's everyday conversations and that even jokes could potentially be a concept - in fact, Hongbin says that the "Conception" trilogy came from nothing more than a conversation the boys had!
