Military enlistment is one thing that male K-pop groups will inevitably face at some point in their careers, and one group that will be enlisting within the next few years are INFINITE. However, it appears that INFINITE's leader Sunggyu may be joining the military earlier than many have expected.

Just recently, Sunggyu took part in an interview and he revealed that he will be passing his leadership responsibilities onto fellow INFINITE member Woohyun starting next year.

This passing on of duties to Woohyun from Sunggyu has got fans speculating that the INFINITE leader will be enlisting at some point in 2017, despite being only 27 years old (28 in Korea).

Should Sunggyu indeed enlist in the military in 2017, he will join fellow K-pop idols T.O.P and Xia Junsu for their mandatory service.

What do you make of Sunggyu's decision to pass on his leadership duties in 2017?
