Thais who made it internationally in 2016

If you think you got the skills, bring it. Korean music label giant S.M. Entertainment - who holds big names such as 'KANGSTA,' 'BoA,' 'TVXQ!,' 'SUPER JUNIOR,' 'Girls' Generation,' 'SHINee,' 'f(x),' 'EXO,' 'Red Velvet' and 'NCT' - are holding their annual Global Audition in search of the next rising star. Auditioning begins in January 2017 and goes until May. They'll be visiting six countries, starting in their hometown Korea, then to China, the U.S, Canada, Japan and Thailand. 

Paradise Bangkok Molam International band, "Planet Lam" album launch

Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band is unique. A musical experiment that was born through late night jammings at Studio Lam with a yadong (Thai herbal whiskey), and world music bar in the hip Bangkok music scene.

The Isaan band who has made it to Britain's Glastonbury Festival released their first album ‘Planet Ham.’ Even UK-rapper-singer-rebel M.I.A was spotted in Bangkok enjoying their music.

Bodyslam's Toon raises 70 million baht for a hospital

Toon, the lead singer of Thai-rock superstars Bodyslam ran 400 kilometers over the course of 10 days to raise money for a local hospital. He managed to raise near 70 million baht (nearly $3m AUD), with support from numerous local artists and the people of Thailand joining this run. The funds will be donated to the hospital for medical supplies and equipment.

LOVE LIVE! Pile 2017 Live in Bangkok

Korean-Japanese singer, actress and voice actress from Tokyo, Pile (Eriko Hori) is coming to Thailand for the Love Live! Pile 2017 Live in Bangkok. She'll perform on January 14 2017 at GMM Live House.

Pile debuted as a singer after she was chosen from 700 applicants in the Japan-wide Asian Dolls Audition, and is known for her role as Maki Nishikino in the Love Live! multimedia franchise.
