We're only a week and a half away before the end of 2016, but while everyone is getting ready to wind down for the holidays, K-pop's big three agencies - SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment - are prepping for what appears to be a charged slate for 2017!
According to a new report, SM are planning comebacks for TVXQ, EXO, and S.E.S, as well as additional debut activities for NCT. There could potentially be more Super Junior activities as Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Siwon will be returning from their military enlistment, though this has still yet to be confirmed.
Moving onto YG, the report re-confirms that BIGBANG's T.O.P will be enlisting, while comebacks are planned for WINNER, iKON, and Black Pink. Since Nam Tae-hyun announced his departure from WINNER a few weeks ago, the group will be re-branded as a four-member group. As for Akdong Musician, the duo will be coming back on January 3 with their new album "WINTER" before Chanhyuk begins prepping for his military enlistment.
And finally, JYP is reportedly planning a series of domestic and international activities for GOT7 and TWICE, as well as preparing for Suzy's planned solo debut in January. 2PM will reportedly be focusing on individual activities, concerts, and acting before the members enlist, while DAY6 also have plans to release new music. Lastly, activities are also planned for Baek A-Yeon, Baek Yerin, and Park Jimin, though it remains to be seen what they do.
Are you excited for what SM, JYP, and YG have to offer in 2017?
