Among the many comebacks and releases put out by SM Entertainment artists in 2016, perhaps the most notable release was the company's ambitious 52-week SM STATION project, which saw a new song be released every week for a year from various artists from SM or other agencies. While the project is scheduled to end on February 3 with the release of EXO's Suho's "Curtain", it appears that a follow-up project is in the works.

According to new reports, SM are currently working on a new project that's similar to SM STATION. SM STATION was created with the idea of putting out collaborations that are "fresh" and "new", and it is reported that the new project will continue on this concept but with an increased emphasis on collaborations with international artists.

SM have released a statement confirming that a new project is indeed in the works and fans can expect more international collaborations, though the company has not yet revealed which international artists will be involved with the company's new STATION project.
