There's little doubt that 2016's number one viral trend was Piko-Taro's ridiculously catchy "PPAP" and a good chunk of the parody song's popularity can be attributed to Justin Bieber, who gave Piko-Taro his big break when he shared the "PPAP" video to all his followers. With the Japanese star's profile currently at a high, it appears that the inevitable has happened - Piko-Taro and Bieber have finally met for the first time!

Bieber was in Japan recently, and he decided to spend his time there by meeting Piko-Taro and shooting a commercial for Softbank. Based on the photos released of their meeting, it appears that Piko-Taro and Bieber got along swimmingly!
