Prince Mak's 10 dating tips, and how to know if someone likes you...
1. Are they interested in you?
Are they making eye contact with you, are they smiling, laughing, having a good time talking to you? You can feel it. If they're into you, you'll tick most of the above.
2. Notice how often they touch you.
Are they trying to touch your hand, or finding excuses to do so? If so, they’re probably interested. But don’t assume they're not interested if they’re not touching you - they may be shy, or less touch-y.
3. How they look at you.
If they like you, they’ll either hold your gaze for a long time or pull away immediately. If they hold your gaze then they’re open and confident about their feelings, if they pull away immediately then they’re the shy, or nervous type.
4. The interaction.
When they’re talking to you, look them in the eye and don’t look anywhere else. Let them know that you’re paying attention and you care about what they’re saying.
5. Help out.
If you work together, or go to the same school, help them out and just be nice to them. Be interested in them – ask them questions.
6. Remember their birthday.
Try and be the first person to say Happy Birthday to them. Everyone remembers the first person to send them birthday wishes.
7. Use social media.
It’s so 'in' these days, and so easy. You can find out what your crush likes just from looking at their social media platforms. It can give you an idea about what sort of date they‘d like to go on.
When you’re around someone you like, always look nice, look clean and smell nice. Hygiene is very important.
9. Just say ‘hi’ or ‘hey’.
You don’t always have to come up with complicated conversations. Pick up lines don’t usually work either. Just talk freely and be yourself. Flirt a little and crack a joke.
10. Ask them on a date when the time is right.
Suggest a movie, or something like that. If they say yes. Nice! If they say no, rejection is fine. Stay cool. Don’t get upset.
Now, go forth.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
