The 2017 Japan Gold Disc Awards were held recently and it appears that K-pop artists had a great run at this years event.

Among the many worthy artists that won on the night, BIGBANG was one of the biggest winners, managing to take home 5 awards for  "Best Asian Artist", "Album of the Year" (for MADE), "Best 3 Albums" (for MADE), "Song of the Year" (for the Japanese version of "Bang Bang Bang"), and "Best Music Video".

Fellow YG artists iKON also had a great night, taking home 2 awards for "New Artist of the Year" and "Best 2 New Artists (Asia)".

And finally, wrapping up a big night for Korean artists at the event were BTS and 2PM, who both won a "Best 2 Albums" award for "Youth" and "Galaxy" respectively.

A huge congratulations to all the winners at the 2017 Japan Gold Disc Awards!
